QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled high school or college students, or graduate students aged 15 to 30 years old

• Students with excellent academic records

• Filipino citizen

• Has basic level Mandarin Chinese (preferably with HSK Level 2 or YCT 3 certificate). Applicants will be screened for proficiency.

• Did not join Chinese Bridge for the past three years

• Preferably traveling to China for the first time

CHINESE INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION FOUNDATION PAYS FOR YOUR:

• • Hotel accommodations in Beijing and dormitory accommodations in Guangzhou (two persons per room)
  • Beijing tour and land transportation fees
  • Airfare from Beijing to Guangzhou
  • Tour meals and school meal allowance (prepaid school cafeteria meal card)
  • Tuition fees

YOU PAY FOR YOUR:

• • Airfare (Manila to Beijing, Guangzhou to Manila — approx 25 to 30K)

  • Chinese visa processing fee (single entry 1,400)

  • Airport fees

  • Travel Insurance

  • Pocket money

  • DSWD Travel Clearance (for minors)

SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ON OR BEFORE 22 APRIL 2024

• • Photocopy of valid Philippine passport (must be valid at least six months starting July 2024. We will not wait for passports pending for renewal)

  • Photocopy of Philippine passport emergency contact page (we will not accept blank pages)
  • Photocopy of report card the last grading period
  • Photocopy of valid school ID
  • Original Certificate of Enrollment
  • 2 copies China-visa sized [48mmx33mm, width of head: 15mm to 22mm, height of head: 28mm to 33mm] photos (white background, taken in the last 30 days).
  • 20,000 reservation fee (Amount will be refunded to unsuccessful applicants. For successful applicants, the amount will be added to their airfare payment)

Submit the following to Ms. Sophia/ Ms. Steph at 6th Floor Ateneo Professional Schools, 130 H.V. Dela Costa St., Salcedo Village, Makati City

Attend your scheduled interview and wait for the results. Successful applicants will be notified by e-mail and SMS. Applicants must confirm their slots and attend the orientation, which will be scheduled at a later date.
